I refuse to go around in life acting like I don’t have enough. In life, pain and trials will come, suffering is optional.
I have to go around with the mentality, that I am the daughter of the Most High King. I can walk with my head held high and that pertains to any time, place, and situation, and circumstance that is going on in my life. It doesn’t matter what anyone else does, or has, it only matters what I HAVE. I have myself and Jesus and all I need besides that is a willing heart to help others. I WILL make a difference in this world!
I remember hearing, all the time: “You are not good enough”. Did I hear it that way, exactly? When it was a general blanket statement, as to my entire being and character, no.
I was always hearing “I don’t have enough” but then “family” would give the money to someone or something else. I remember hearing “I’m so sick of this” “I work my butt off” blah blah blah. And I realize the reason I was always poor is the poor mentality that was taught to me growing up.
If you’re always saying “I don’t have enough” or “I need more” or living in lack by saying things like: “I don’t have enough friends” or “I don’t have enough love” or “I don’t have enough time”–you will ALWAYS be poor, in spirit, mind, body, and finances.
Any time you say “I don’t have enough (and fill in the blank), you must again, remind your subconscious that YOU ARE enough and YOU ALREADY HAVE MORE than enough, for this is the mentality of the truly wealthy. You already have everything you need and a whole lot more, because the fact is, YOU ARE the precious rubies and diamonds! YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
When it comes to finances, that was the biggest problem area of my life. I refuse to accept being poor any more. I will not accept mediocrity in my life, and that includes my finances. I refuse to accept poverty or homelessness or being a single woman as my lot in life. God wants me to be happy, and I know He doesn’t want me in lack of any good thing. (Psalm 34:9-10)
I know He wants me to enjoy my life and having money, being truly wealthy and then getting married and having my dream family, my dream life–EXACTLY the way I dreamed it! THERE IS NO NEED TO COMPROMISE! I don’t know about you, but I took detours and it’s my fault that it took me so long to be successful. I have no regrets though, and I am happy I made mistakes. The way my life is today is exactly how it’s supposed to be. I can use all the “bad” things to glorify God and help others through my experiences. I say “bad” in quotes, because no experience is bad, unless you fail to become better because of it. Romans 8:28 says it this way “All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose”.
God doesn’t want me to be miserable. He came that I may have life and that I may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) It says “we” may have life and have it more abundantly, but you make your choices and I make mine. I cannot make you believe something that you don’t want to believe. I am worth it! So are you!
In gratitude for you,
